About Birth Recovery.
Some women experience very emotionally and physically traumatic birth experiences. Unfortunately, in our society this is common and mostly unrecognized. These experiences can leave women feeling lost, disconnected, grieving, in pain, depressed, and much more. These types of emotional experiences postpartum can cause issues with mother-infant bonding, breastfeeding, other children in the family, their partner, and in other areas of their life. Recovering from the traumatic birth experience emotionally is the key to reclaiming happiness and life again. A Traumatic Birth Recovery Mentor can assist mothers in this situation.
What is a Traumatic Birth Recovery Mentor™ (TBRM™)?
A Traumatic Birth Recovery Mentor™ is a trained birth and postpartum professional specializing in emotional recovery after a traumatic birth.
What does a Traumatic Birth Recovery Mentor™ do?
A Traumatic Birth Recovery Mentor™ guides a mother of a traumatic birth through the emotional recovery and healing protocol developed by VBAC Support International Founder, Leigh Anne DuChene.
