This is a VSI support group, which means that it is three dimensional. First, this is a FREE peer-to-peer, and peer-lead support group. Second, this group’s main focus (though, not only focus) is emotional healing, recovery, support, and encouragement. Third, birth and postpartum professionals are welcome, and encouraged, to attend, and those that become supporting members of VSI are able to promote their profession through VSI, before or after meetups, but not during. This includes VSI trained and/or certified professionals. However, during each meet-up VSI Network Members are recognized for their support.

Official VSI Support Groups are designed for peer-to-peer support. Birth and postpartum professionals are welcome to join the meetings, but there are guidelines on business solicitation at our meetings. Listed support groups do not have to be trained in VSI protocols in order to be listed.

There are currently 3 listing options; free or basic listings, advanced listings, and Official VSI Support Group listings. We are working on additional listing options to offer a wider range of services to you.

Training is now completely independent of certification. All trainings will be available online via videos, audios, and other materials, in a per topic fashion, so that you can learn what you want to learn at your own pace.

Certification remains for those who wish to dig deeper into their understanding of these topics, and improve upon their abilities to work with clients. Once certified, it is a forever certification. Updating your knowledge-base is your choice, and will be available online via more in-depth studies of various topics.

Training workshops are available for those who wish to bring an in-person, hands-on experience to their community. If you are interested in scheduling a training workshop for your area, simply contact us at workshops@VBACSupport.com.

Online training materials are still in production, and will be ready for release VERY soon!

I know many of you are very anxious to begin!

Network Memberships and affiliations are also completely optional, and independent of both training and certification.
